I was playing through skyrim today and I noticed that for some reason Bjorlam (the whiterun carriage driver) was missing. His carriage and horse where still there but he was no where to be seen. I tried waiting multiple in game days and he still had not returned. I then used console and the place at me command to see if that worked, he spawned but would not get on the carriage and I could open the dialogue box to ask for a ride. This is annoying for me because I only use carriages to fast travel as I like to have an immersive roleplay experience. Please help me figure this out! I do use mods but none that should be affecting carriages or Bjorlam himself.

To be honest, I ask for a load order to double check that LOOT has been run correctly to sort, a lot of people do not realize that you need to hit the sort button. It also gives me a chance to see if any mods are known to be problematic. Your load order looks good on first glance. I did some research and the carriage driver should respawn after 10 days in game.

First thing to try is let's let all of Skyrim respawn. And just an FYI, placeatme is only good for spawning npc's and monsters to fight as it spawns a clone of the actor and the AI's rarely work correctly for named npc's. Just follow this set of console commands. Please note that some of the chests in the area I'm about to send you contain a lot of items and can lock up weaker computers.coc quasmoke once you load up hereset timescale to 9000 Walk away from the computer for 5 minutes, this will allow 30 in game days to pass. And reset all of Skyrimset timescale to 20 coc whiterun Once you load up on the bridge fast travel to the stables, this allows all necessary scripts to start.Hopefully the carriage driver will be there.
