Common HUNT: Showdown Error codes

Here are some of the common error codes in HUNT: Showdown,and what they mean:

Error code:

· 0x2000b - Like above, this error is usually caused by attempted matchmaking across regions. Please check that you are playing on the same region as whoever you are inviting.

· 0x30001 - No network connection. Check your network connection, and server availability.

· 0x30003 - Authentication failure. Make sure that you are launching the game using Steam.

· 0x30004 - Version mismatch. Make sure that your game is up to date.

· 0x40004 - EasyAntiCheat Authentication error.

· 0x40005 and 0x40006 - EasyAntiCheat violation detected. (These errors are currently also seen quite a lot due to latency/a disconnection from the dedicated server during a round. If you see this error, you don't need to worry about being banned - this has no lasting effect on your account).

· 0x40007 - EasyAntiCheat Ban. You have been banned by EasyAntiCheat. Contact support.

- 0x5013 - This error is a server side issue, and usually affects everyone in the session. Please send a support ticket if you see this error.

0x107d1 - This is a matchmaking error, which is usually related to friend invites. If you experience this problem, trying to match using the solo or random function may help. We're working on fixing this problem as soon as possible.

- 0x60004 - EasyAntiCheat has found an integrity violation. Unknown game file version. Error code

If you encounter this error upon opening the game, there is an easy solution.

First of all you should try navigating to your game folder (SteamsteamappscommonHunt Showdown), going into the EasyAntiCheat folder, and manually running the EasyAntiCheat_setup.exe.

This should manually begin the process for the installation of EasyAntiCheat. Please repair or install the service, depending on which option is presented.

If this doesn't help solve your problem, you should delete your EAC folder (SteamsteamappscommonHunt ShowdownEasyAntiCheat), and then verify the integrity of your game files through steam with the following steps:

- Right click on Hunt: Showdown in steam, and select 'properties'.

- Select 'Local files'.

- Click 'Verify integrity of game files'.

Suhr guitars. Steam should now start downloading the missing files and after it has finished you should be good to hunt!

Note that these are not all of the error codes for Hunt; however, these are the most common and the ones most likely to be encountered.
